From the city of Houston, take Highway 16 (toward Hokah). Turn left on County Road 25. The cemetery is about 5 miles from there at the top of the bluff
Notes
The land was dedicated by Edmond Lore (Seth Lore's son). The cemetery was named after him. Some people were passing through the area when their infant daughter, Florence Carpenter, died. She is buried under the largest tree in the cemetery. There are Civil War, WWI and WWII veterans buried here.
