Research time outside of posted hours

To protect the assets of the Minnesota Genealogical Society (MGS), its branches, partners, and affiliates, the use of the Hoffman Research Library for personal research is restricted to the scheduled and posted Library open hours and availability of trained volunteers. Special consideration may be given to branches, partners, and affiliates in line with our policy on using the library outside scheduled hours.

Every effort should be made to schedule a visit to the library during posted scheduled days and hours. However, to arrange research time outside the posted hours , please refer to our process for requesting the use of the library and its associated form. Please note that usage outside of posted hours will require board approval.
