About the Speaker:
Kim Richardson began her genealogy journey from her love of family history. She is passionate about her work and enjoys serving the genealogy community by teaching and enabling others to do their own research successfully. Kim created the Brick Wall Buster Cards to show others her secret to solving tough genealogy problems.

Kim lives in Oxford, Mississippi, and graduated from Mississippi State University in 1996 with a BA in Communication. She retired after serving the state of Mississippi in highway safety programs and as an advocate for victims of violent crimes. In her role as a genealogist, she not only assists others to achieve their own genealogy goals, but she has also researched for Finding Your Roots and Who Do You Think You Are? Kim also wrote the “Mississippi Research Guide” for Family Tree Magazine.
