Description:
This class is designed for people who are just getting started doing Germanic genealogy. Learn the four main things that will give your research a successful start, how to find a birthplace, useful books and websites, Germanic Genealogical Society services, and other tools for beginners.

About the Speaker:
Diane Schmidt is the Germanic Genealogy Society (GGS) President and Library Committee Chair and Pommern Regional Group (PRG) Board member. She has created a number of webinars, presentations, and articles about Germanic genealogy for GGS, PRG, and the International Germanic Genealogy Partnership (IGGP). She has been working on her own Germanic genealogy since the 5th grade, so she’s seen a lot of change in genealogical techniques.

Cost:
MGS and GGS Members $30. Non-Members $40. Use the links on the left under the "Registration" section to sign up for the class.
