Building Presentation Skills (informal workshop)

  • 20 Jun 2024
  • 7:00 PM
  • Zoom Workshop

Presented by Sara Cochran, sponsored by the Minnesota Genealogical Society.

Audience Level – All, presentation geared more towards Intermediate

MGS wants you! That's right, we think there's probably some genealogy or family history topic that you know more about than anyone else. Yes, you are a candidate for teaching a class, delivering a webinar, or presenting at an MGS conference.

You may have a genealogy story, a skill, or subject expertise that you would like to share, but you're not quite sure how to begin. Join us for an informal discussion of how to get started. Expert presenters Jay Fonkert and Nancy Adomeit will help you flesh out your idea from proposal, to script, to PowerPoint (or what have you), to telling your story to an audience—large or small.

During this first informal session, you'll have a chance to visit with Jay and Nancy about how they might be able to help you. They are excited to help you share your expertise with other family history researchers. Future sessions will be offered based on your needs.
