Presenter: Mark Thompson is a professional genealogist and speaker specializing in the application of artificial intelligence to genealogy. He co-hosts the Family History AI Show podcast (link) with Steve Little, which helps genealogists bridge the gap between high technology and their family history research.

Mark has a unique perspective on the rapidly evolving field of AI-assisted research as an IT executive. He is President of the Victoria Genealogical Society (British Columbia, CAN) and chairs their DNA Special Interest Group. A member of APG, Mark is a frequent presenter on tech-related genealogy topics including AI, genetic genealogy, family archiving, and Microsoft Excel. When not exploring family histories, he enjoys photography.
