This session will present an overview of the various holdings of the Minnesota Historical Society Library and State Archives that relate to genealogy and family history. The instructor will address how the key genealogy records are organized, how to find them using the various Internet catalogs, how to get around in the facility and make best use of your time at the library.
About the speaker: Tom Rice, CG®(Ret.), is a professional genealogical researcher, lecturer and writer. He is a past director of the Minnesota Genealogy Society, past officer and director of the Irish Genealogy Society International, former managing editor of their journal, The Septs, and for several decades a Minnesota Historical Society genealogy help desk volunteer.
